I am a mixed media artist who believes that true art begins during those moments between being asleep and being awake. My work typically starts out with a doodle, and I work it into the vibrant pieces. I like to work with mixed media with a strong focus on watercolor, ink, and color pencil. Generally, each piece features a strong female figure as the focus while incorporating various organic shapes, natural elements, with vivid color washes, and bold gestural line work.

My goal is to bring out the cerebral nature of the content. I like to think my work has a unique way of elevating the piece’s central figures to a spiritual level, pulling viewers into a sort of meditative experience. While I wouldn’t say I’m a brave person, I love all things playful and mysterious. My favorite projects allow me to grow and challenge my own creative habits, and I am constantly enthralled by new ways of working.
