I am a multidisciplinary artist working across photography, painting, mixed media, and copper wire drawings. I hold an MFA in Fine Art, and my practice has evolved through diverse artistic experiences, shaping work that is both conceptually grounded and emotionally resonant. Since moving from Korea to the United States in 2015, I have explored identity, memory, and the experience of living between cultures. Through abstraction, I transform natural forms into poetic visual expressions, focusing on subtle moments that often go unnoticed. My use of monochrome imagery and experimental materials emphasizes essence over appearance and feeling over description. My photographs and wire drawings function as fragments of memory, woven into a narrative of transition and self-discovery. Through my work, I invite viewers to pause and reflect on their own sense of time, belonging, and identity.
