My artistic journey started in my teens and has been inspired by my life experiences and new techniques.
When I paint I feel happy and it gives me an inner calm. Trying new techniques is an ever present
challenge for me. I enjoy mastering them and passing on what I have learned to others. At times I loose
myself in a new project, oblivious to all around me, it’s like the brush takes over and I’m just along for
the ride. I enjoy painting memories of the past, they always bring a closeness to distant friends and
family. The thought that my paintings might inspire others is very fulfilling to me.
