As an impressionist I am more interested in catching light contrast and reflection color than just copying the objects. On top of that I challenge to infuse my own language in my works.
I find artistic beauty from every surroundings of me every day; from the various types of a man-made urban structures as well as Mother Nature’s master pieces. Literally the beauty is ubiquitous from my own realm. In this sense I believe I am a very blessed man. Now my agony is lying in how I can tell the story about this beauty in my works in the language of mine. So they can hear me even with their eyes closed. I know that as long as I breathe in the canvas, I can’t stop this agony.
I can still vividly hear the sound of chattering from the terrace of the Gogh’s night café, the sound of slapping river and the bass tone of foghorn from busily cruising steamboats in the Thames of Pissarro.
