I have been working for others as a community health worker for over 20 years. Most recently, discovering my love for oil painting and art has become my healing process and personal passion. I unexpectedly began the study of oil painting in my late 50s, when I started an oil painting class just for fun. What started as a hobby quickly formed and became a vividly colored scene on the canvas of my life. Becoming an artist has become an exciting journey filled with new experiences and delight. I hope that others can share in my experiences and feelings through my work.
