Nature is full of life and emits a certain feeling level of energy that touches my heart.
I found that, through art, I am able to exhibit emotions through art that is aesthetically pleasing and technically adept.
I began painting at the age of 19, primarily focusing in acrylics and oil. After highschool, I went to college with a passion for art, and though I did not attend or major in the arts, I wanted to improve as an artist nonetheless. After my classes, I spent hours at local art studios, immersed in my art.
Inspired by the dignity and simple beauty of nature, I found that I was less constrained in my art, and able to express more freedom when painting scenes of nature. I found enjoyment in filling a blank, white canvas with splashes of color, each stroke of my paint brush being a tool utilized in expressing my emotions.
Art gives me a sense of rapture, my passion for the practice only increasing by the day.
I find that painting these scenes of nature gives me a personal connection with my art, motivating more creativity and instilling withing me a sense of purpose and enjoyment that I will carry for the rest of my life.
