Member Profile
I majored in graphic design and worked in that field for a long time, but I turned my attention to fine art. I try to express myself freely through various media. The inspiration for my work comes from the deserts and nature of the regions I frequently travel to. I try to reinterpret the various canyons of Utah, the rock Arts of ancient people, and the colors and crafts of native Americans with my own eyes and express them as Encaustic Art. The area where I live has the ocean and dense forests, so they are also the subject matter of my work. I experiment with bee wax, watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic paint, and various auxiliary materials.
